You’re Most Likely paying too much

What’s the difference between left and right? Left is the store “Lads & Lasses” Simone sent me with super cute baby rompers. The right store is Aliexpress at 25% of the price. Exactly the same rompers, just a different (uglier) environment and Chinese suppliers you don’t want to talk to.

I’ve been talking to a couple of friends because I’ve been dabbing at dropshipping myself but since you lads and lasses don’t have that keen “expert (read:obsessive) eye” that I have developed over the past months I wanted to share a little bit of wisdom here: 

If you are considering to buy something from the internet and it communicates delivery times of 2-3 weeks and 9/10 times the shop is “Powered through Shopify” (check the footer) then you are most likely buying from a dropshipper. Nothing wrong with some retail arbitrage BUT if you don’t want to overspend – just head to Aliexpress and find the exact same product there. With the exact same shipping times. Just at 25% of the original price.

The days where you could only find junk on Aliexpress are over – they actually offer quite some nice things (like this cute yoga set here that I’m dropshipping over here)
